Anthony Roberts Ordination

The Reverend Anthony Roberts Ordination

On 28th October Anthony Roberts was ordained to the presbyterate in Holy Trinity, Oswaldtwistle by the Right Revd John Fenwick, Bishop of the Northern Diocese.

Anthony had served in the parish for a year as Deacon. He has been involved in the community, as he build bridges for the gospel between the church and the people.

He was presented by the Churchwardens and clergy from other parishes in the Diocese took part in the laying on of hands, including the Revd John Taylor under whom Anthony had initially served. The ordination was followed by a buffet lunch for all.

Let us pray for the Rev Anthony Roberts and his work, as he serves in Holy Trinity, Oswaldtwistle.

God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.
