Yesterday, 22nd September 2024, two members of St Andrew’s Church, Bentley were confirmed by Bishop Paul Hunt. There were 75 people in attendance and the service was followed by light refreshments, including cakes and cookies. Revd Mark Spiers preached an inspiring sermon and Revd Henry Birtley led the congregation through communion. The hymns, Be Still, Here is Bread, Here is Wine and Tell Out my Soul were sung as well as modern songs ‘God Will Make a Way’, written by Don Moen, and The Peace, written by Graham Kendrick, with Matthew Spiers playing the guitar. We give thanks to God for this service!
