Meeting with Archbishop Foley Beach
On 18th October Primus joined other Anglican bishops, both inside and outside the Church of England, at a meeting in London with the Most Revd Foley Beach, Archbishop of the Anglican Church in North America and Chairman-elect of GAFCON. Bishop Gerhard Meyer from Germany was among those present. The meeting was the Bishops’ Forum – one of the bodies set up within the structures of GAFCON UK, to bring together bishops who have signed the Jerusalem Declaration. Discussions were wide-ranging; signs of encouragement were shared as well as assessments of the range of challenges facing the Gospel in the UK.
