International World Day of Prayer
Christ Church Shoreham played a key role in the International World Day of Prayer service. The service was held at St Mary de Haura Church, as congregations from across Shoreham united in worship and fellowship.
The service, created by the women of the Cook Islands, was a powerful celebration of faith and cultural heritage. Christ Church Shoreham was honoured to be part of this global event, standing alongside fellow churches in the community to lead prayers and reflections. See photos below:

Christ Church, Shoreham – A Community United through Food Ministry
Christ Church, Shoreham writes: “We truly love to serve the community through our Food mission. We collect food seven days a week from @coopuk and @asda… this food creates meals for over 150 people.
We distribute food everyday. We have all the health and safety and protocols in place. A couple of weeks ago a complaint was made about the food box outside our house. The council asked us to register now as a foodbank business. We never intended this to be a business but we did and we were registered in 24 hours. The community in our village were so outraged at this complaint and we had the most fantastic support. People putting cards through our door, text messages and even those willing to stand up and fight for this gift of food to bless others.
Wow our hearts were so encouraged.
We had to have an inspection this week and the inspector was so kind and wonderful. Praise the Lord we have the best hygiene rating.
We know this is truly the goodness of God and we have met amazing people who collect from the box go and bless many others. We give you all the glory Lord for this ministry and we are truly blessed to be the hands and feet of Jesus.” (Via @christchurchshoreham on Instagram)
