Southern Synod talks of Mission and training

The September meeting of the Synod of the Southern Diocese took place on Saturday 21st September at Christ Church, Harlesden. Delegates were treated to a curry lunch prior to the meeting and fellowship was enjoyed by all.

It was good to hear that many of the Southern churches are focusing on Mission and outreach in various forms. Reports were also heard from the various men currently in training, including a little of their goals once training was completed.

There were also details given of the forthcoming Southern Diocese retreat, taking place during the February half-term, enabling children of the diocese to join the Retreat at a highly subsidised rate.

It was also good to welcome so many visitors who were interested in finding out more about the FCE and were considering working together in the future.
