Christ Church, Shoreham-by-Sea wanted to connect with the community at Milward Court where they hold their church services.
On Sunday 14th of July they had a “Summer BBQ in the garden.”
The Lord brought the provisions in for them in abundance. They had plates of meat leftover. Ladies in the church made salads for the day. There was a donation pot and they asked for donations and all proceeds went to MND charity. This charity is so close to their heart, as in June a precious member of their congregation Tony King died after a long battle with MND. We raised £195.65.
The BBQ was a wonderful day and lots of great conversations and joy were all around. They had around 60 people attend the BBQ and it was so good for the congregation to connect with the community.
