Gospel Fellowship at St Abdias of Susa, Sheffield

The Free Church of England’s congregation in Sheffield, dedicated to St Abdias of Susa, gave a warm welcome to Revd Brett Murphy, the Northern Diocese’s newest presbyter, and to Revd Tony and Mrs Cherie Welty of the Reformed Episcopal Church in North America on 9th July.

The Weltys and Brett accompanied Bishop John on his monthly visit to the congregation. They were warmly welcomed by our brothers and sisters in Christ.

During Holy Communion (conducted in English and Farsi) Tony and Brett introduced themselves and spoke of the call of God in their lives.

After the service there was an outdoor meal of Iranian food, accompanied by lively conversation and fellowship.
