Oswaldtwistle hosts Day of Prayer for the Emergency Services

Holy Trinity Church has strong ties with both military and Police Staff Associations and was pleased to be invited to host a one hour prayer service as part of the 24 hours of prayer for the Emergency Services on Thursday 22nd June 2023. The event was organised by The Christian Police Association Worldwide and the service was attended by Police Officers and Staff from Lancashire and Greater Manchester. The service included hymns sung by the children’s choir of St Andrews Primary School, Oswaldtwistle, who, together with regular members of the congregation, read prayers, some of which were written by the children.

The Secretary of the Lancashire Christian Police Association thanked the church for supporting the event.
